In an effort to resolve conflicts that most of our member families are plugged Nsumbi Trust Family  set out to conduct regular  meetings with community  leaders and community members themselves. The aim is make them appreciate what the opportunities the law provides to them. Soon will be reaching out to communities especially Kikandwa in Mityana district to sensitize the community  and it's leadership on the provisions of the Mining Act,  the land act  versus the expectations of the people. Most families in our community use charcoal and fire wood  tonorepare food for their house hold members. Until recently  we have discovered  that it's very expensive to cook food using charcoal and firewood using the traditional cooking methods and the stoves.  As Nsumbi  Trust  family we have come up with and idea where families can still cook food for their house household Members with very very few wood.  Look at the pictures below: This is the traditionally  used cooking method for a house hold.  This method uses alot of firewood and takes alot of time. This is the new cooking method we have designed for  the families in the community. Yes it uses firewood but a very limited scale. This method can accommodate  two saucepan but with same cooking energy. It's even time  saving. It also saves our environment. The children's are not at risk like compared to the traditional method. At our offices located in Nsumbi Village,Kyebando Parish, Wakiso district, the Youths are given a hands on skill in making shoes. Look at these youths in action using their handsg. It's amazing! In a bid to respond to the un employment problem among the youth and in the Community, Nsumbi Trust Family has set out to train and  impart some of its  members with practical skills among which are the youths. A Shoe Making Project was started, the products are meant for all people in the community and beyond. They can be dressed by Men,  Women,  Youth and children. The shoes are made out of locally available materials see some of the pictures.
